THE POWERS OF THE QUEEN

The monarch retains the power to exercises it at as discretion, for example, in the nomination of the first minister or the dissolution of the parliament. Actually at the power there is Queen Elizabeth II.
She has important functions, as:
- to convocate and to dissolute the Parliament,
- to appoint important office olders (prime minister, official judges of the armed forces, some important figures in the Church of England)
- to declare war and peace,
- to recognize foreign states;
- to conclude the treatries ;
Elizabeth II ( London, 1926) is the Queen of the United Kingdom and the north of Ireland and the other of the reams of the Commonwealth.
In the february of the 1945 Queen Elizabeth convinced her father to allow her to personally partecipate in the war effort. She joined the territorial auxilliary service.
In the 1947 she married the Prince Philip Mountbatten with whom he had four children.
