Boris Johnson before his political debut

Boris Johnson was born in New York on 19 June 1964 from a wealthy British family of Anglican religion and of English, Turkish, Russian, Jewish, French and German origins. One of his direct ancestors, of German origin, was the illegitimate daughter of Prince Paul Frederick of Wurttemberg and therefore he is for all intents and purposes a direct descendant of King George II of Great Britain. After graduating in classical literature at Oxford University Johnson becomes a journalist and his first job is as a stagist at The Times, from which he will be fired and accused of having invented a statement contained in an article. Then he moved to Daily Telegraph, for which he worked as a correspendent from Brussels from 1989 to 1994, becoming one of the first eurosceptic journalists, known for his outrageous articles and only partially based on true facts.
