Boris Johnson

In the British general election of May 2015, Johnson was re-elected to the British Parliament, becoming one of the most important people in favour of “Leave” in the Brexit referendum compain. With the victory of the Brexit, the ex prime minister Cameron is forced to resign, while Johnson is nominated foreign minister in the new government of Theresa May. In the July 2018 Johnson is resigned as minister and Jeremy Hunt is appointed as his successor, while Johnson begins to prepare his candidacy to lead the Conservative party. To challenge him, in the party primaries, is his successor Jeremy Hunt. On the 23th July 2019 Johnson triumphs getting over 90.000 votes from party members against over 40.000 from his rival.
