BORIS JOHNSON

His debut in politics dates back to 2001, when he was elected to the English Parliament with the conservatives. He soon distinguished himself for more liberal positions than his Tories colleagues, especially on immigration and civil rights. In 2008 he runs for mayor of London, which he becomes in May of the same year. He stands out for some innovations, especially in terms of "green": among these, the city bike sharing system, the installation of many charging stations for electric cars, as well as a higher minimum wage. In 2012 he was re-elected for a second term, in the year in which the British capital hosted the Olympics. At the end of his tenure in 2016, 52% of Londoners are satisfied with Jonhson and think he did a good job.
